As tomorrow starts the ai verification crap, my videos will be private and I will go inactive on this channel for a while. I am not saying goodbye, but saying see you later. hopefully youtube decides to back pedal before they lose everybody cause of their mistake. until then I'll see you all on the other side of the rainbow, you wont hear from me on this channel (maybe somewhere else) but until then see you when this is over - PrisimBrad.

i have no idea if this is gonna be my last community post. but it’s worth giving it a shot before the day of reckoning falls upon us.



YouTube hates anonymity. to prevent the AI verification thing is to fight for our privacy. most teenagers nowadays aspire to be YouTubers, so why is YouTube trying to take that away? if YouTube wants to be a better platform for children, why is it so hellbent on removing all children from the platform? back in the 2010s, youtubers like EthanGamer and EvanTubeHD started their channels when they were under 13 years old. they became some of the most successful child YouTubers of the generation. if they started it now, they would’ve been exterminated from the platform for being minors. i am willing to bet that if Evan or Ethan were as popular as they were in the 2010s now, YouTube would either. i don’t think the big eyes in the sky don’t see how this is a bad thing. they do. they just don’t care enough to do something about it. they’re motivated by greed to sell your personal info.


​⁠‪‪@YouTube‬, if you’re reading this, stop and listen. the entire YT community’s calls to stop this are falling on deaf ears. what is about to happen on the 13th is a gross violation of our privacy, and no one will stand by and let you piss in their mouths. legitimately think about the younger people in the audience who want to be YouTubers and are having their dreams crushed because a corporation can’t stand the thought of minors on the platform. for the greedy people above in YouTube HQ rn, i have something that could discourage you. when this comes around, people aren’t gonna be in YT anymore. they’re most likely gonna migrate to TikTok, Dailymotion, etc., and this exodus is gonna mean no one new is gonna be watching or posting. since no one’s watching or posting, your AI doesn’t have new users to scan the age of. no new users, no biometric data. no biometric data, no selling to other parties. no selling, no money.

I came to youtube for fun, I've been wanting my own channel since I was a kid, and you really think I'm gonna stop because You're using AI to verify age.... THATS STUPID, I've made so many great memories on this channel and I am very close to age 18, My channel is not for kids, its for everybody to enjoy young and old, this is a nostalgia based channel and my art style of Gacha, I'm a lazy animator. I don't do kids content like that, just because my videos talk about shows for preschoolers like The Backyardigans and The Fresh Beat Band doesn't mean shit to me, I'm having fun, my viewers which are mostly my age and older enjoy the nostalgia content, and to take that away from us all, that's just super wrong.

there is nothing good that is gonna come out of this for creators and to an extent, for YouTube itself. this is a battle for our privacy. it was never about the kids. it’s about mass surveillance and control. Gacha is considered a children’s IP, so YT’s AI is gonna be on the hunt for any GachaTuber even though I'm barely one. this is why we need to do something or speak up.


to everyone, DONT STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS. spam your community board if you need to. it may seem futile, but we need to give it our best shot. we need to do something. it’s not just me who feels like this. LOADS of other young YouTubers feel this way. I'm just pretty vocal about it. I am not going down cause you all want to use AI to do something incredibly stupid. its not right, and its super unfair as an aspiring creator.


I'm not sure if this is my last post and I pray it wont be, but if it is, it was nice while it lasted. i genuinely did enjoy making content for you guys back when i had my old channel and now this one. to those who stayed until the end, thank you. your support means the entire universe to me.
