Hey guys! So it's been a while since I last said anything, which is sadly becoming the regular around here. But fear not! I'm just busy with work and other projects like video editing and photography (I've posted a few photos below), which is consuming what little free time I do have throughout the week.
But one thing has been bothering me lately and that is the overtourism and subsequent bad behavior here in Japan. As someone who shares his life in Japan, I can't help but feel a little bit responsible even though I'm sure my viewers have enough common sense to not act like Japan is their personal playground. Even if you don't know all the customs and traditions, acting like a decent person goes a long way no matter where you are.
For awhile I was debating on even continuing to make Japan themed videos, but I decided to continue because I like Japan and want to show off cool spots that aren't covered much online. The reasons being are to hopefully lighten the load on overcrowded spots and contribute positively to tourism in areas of Japan that don't receive as much tourists. That being said, I think I should add some sort of information on how to act in these areas or even make dedicated videos on it.
Now that the weather is warming up, I want to get out there and make some videos in Shonan! While most people know about Enoshima and Kamakura, there's a lot more to Shonan than just those places. I hope to see you guys again soon! - Andy.

Hey guys! So it's my channel's anniversary in America and it's the big 1-8! Not too many channels still out there from when I started and even less before I started. I wanna put out an anniversary vlog hopefully today, but if not, I wanted to mention it in a post if anything. Until then, as always for 18 years now, we'll see you next time! - Andy
Hey guys! So it's been a while since I last uploaded anything. It's taken time away from YouTube for me to realize just how much it means to me and how much I want to continue to do it. But I'll save it for an update vlog coming soon. Also, my 18 year YouTube anniversary is coming up in a few weeks, and I have a fair bit to say, especially considering a lot of other OG YouTubers retiring recently. Granted, I don't have the reach that they do, but I have been here just as long if not longer in most cases. Anywho, stay tuned! - Andy.
Hey guys! So I'm glad to be releasing the short vlogs from Osaka and later Kyoto. After those are all done, I plan on working more on the Edit With Andy channel over the winter and getting my video editing course put together. That's not to say I won't be releasing anything on here as there are a few events coming up that I want to film (and make a few tutorials from the footage) and of course when springtime comes around there will be plenty to film as well as leading into my first summer living in Shonan! I also want to take on more projects this year and upgrade my portfolio in a big way! I feel like 2024 has a lot of great things in store (hey that rhymed) and I can't wait to start working on them! - Andy.
