Diana “Naoko” Loginova is a Russian street musician in Saint Petersburg who got detained for singing an anti-war/anti-Putin song.

Naoko and some others sang anti-war songs out on the streets of Saint Petersburg, and was detained for what Russian officials say “discrediting the Russian army”. You heard me right, she got detained for singing songs that are against the war in Ukraine. A guitarist and a drummer were also detained alongside Naoko.

Naoko is a brave woman for standing up against the fascists in the Russian government. The others who sung the anti-war songs out in the streets are also as brave as Naoko.

The fact that Naoko and the others were detained for singing anti-war songs really shows the fascism in the Russian government.

Putin's Russia is a clear textbook example of a fascist nation.

Naoko and the other musicians were extremely brave for standing up to fascists in the Russian government.
