More about the Mabini Master Roger san Miguel
”Roger San Miguel is characterized as a figurative expressionist. He paints the human figure in curvilinear shapes and forms with earth color and hues that cause movement and life through progressive graphic shapes.”
The shapes of the "cool climate" are pictorially presented likewise: clear and blurred edges with the shapes centrally positioned."
"The shapes allow for vertical and horizontal line to create quadric directional motion, despite climate's impact."

Private Mabini Art Collection - Music and Dance related Cubism by Paco Gorospe
Artworks by the same artist painting similar subjects – let us have a closer look at Music and Dance related artworks by Master Francisco Paco Gorospe. Paco Gorospe (1939 – 2002) was called “A Filipino legend in cubism and modern art from the Mabini School of Art; he was an internationally-acclaimed artist.”
He was also referred to as the “Picasso of the Philippines” due to the European and American influences in his work.
More about the artworks
Presented either realistically or in Manansala´s transparent Cubism, some are decorated with designs that attest to the early Filipino´s contacts with their fellow Asians across the millennia.
Surely such objects and designs have enriched Philippine art and culture in the large.
