Another trans teenager was attacked in the UK on Saturday, they were stabbed 14 times.

Statistically, despite the alarming rise in transphobia most people (at least in my country) are fully supportive of trans rights and I feel it's important that we keep that in mind.

Most people are not transphobic, transphobes do not speak for the majority of the British public- THEY are what's wrong with society.

To any transphobe reading this who stands by their bigotry, you have two choices...

Either you support the culture that encourages people to express themselves how they feel is RIGHT FOR THEM, or you contribute to the culture that promotes hatred and bigotry- that convinces teenagers it's okay to murder another human being so long as it's a trans kid they're attacking.

TRANSPHOBIC CULTURE HAS CONSEQUENCES and we're seeing them right now.

Trans people aren't a political issue for you to dismiss, they're PEOPLE!

So ffs start treating them with a little humanity.
