Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut
Am Fost La Munte Si Mi-a Placut (I Went To The Mountains And I Liked It, also stylised as “AFLMSMP” or “Am Fost”) is a five-piece Romanian post-rock/post-metal band.
AFLMSMP has shown an inclination towards a barefaced, riff-led take on the post-genres, inviting comparisons with bands such as Pelican and Cloudkicker (dunk!records, 2022) and If These Trees Could Talk (Everything is Noise, 2019). Fans have also generously likened AFLMSMP’s sound to bands like Russian Circles and Isis.
Following three full-length releases, as well as a few EPs and live recordings, I Went To The Mountains And I Liked It released their fourth full-length album - a self-titled record of sorts - I WENT TO THE MOUNTAIN, (February 2025), co-released by dunk!records (Belgium - 2nd release with dunk!) and A Thousand Arms (USA).
