✨ Creating Magic with Systems & Processes: A Guide to Conscious Execution ✨
My first official working day of 2025! I've been thinking about how to balance my spontaneous creative energy with sustainable growth this year. The secret? Creating conscious systems that catch my magic when it flows. Here's how I'm thinking about it:
💫 A Confession
I'm probably the least consistent person you'll meet. One day I'm firing off 20 posts in a burst of inspiration, the next week I'm deep in a project and forget social media exists. Sound familiar?
That's exactly why I fell in love with conscious systems. Instead of fighting my natural ebbs and flows, I'm learning how to work with them.
🪄 The Core Components: Design a System to Catch Your Creativity 🪄
⭐️ Figure Out Your Goal
- Define what success looks like
- Clarify your priorities
- Know your destination
🌙 Track Your Energy
- Notice your creative peaks
- Map your natural rhythms
- Identify what drains vs energizes
💫 Identify Highest Impact Actions
- Focus on what moves the needle
- Choose key priorities (rule of 3)
- Eliminate low-value tasks
⚡️ Protect Consistency Through Systems
- Schedule during inspired moments
- Automate repetitive tasks
- Delegate what doesn't need you
🎯 Set Flexible Boundaries
- Create space for deep work
- Build in room for spontaneity
- Maintain sustainable routines
✨ Review, Retrospect, Tweak
- Regular system check-ins
- Reflect on what you've learned
- Adjust and evolve as you grow
🌟 The Real Magic
The beauty of systems isn't in forcing consistency—it's in creating a foundation that catches your bursts of energy and spreads them out sustainably. Nothing fancy, just intentional.
Remember: Building a conscious system for your creativity isn't about getting it perfect—it's about crafting an intentional process that supports both your goals and your joy. Start where you are and tweak it whenever, however you'd like.
With intention,

If you’ve watched any of my tutorials before, you might have noticed the Wallpaper on my laptop, “Do it for your future self”.
It’s there to remind me (and now you), to be nice to “the future me” and not leave too much work behind for them.
I’m a team-oriented person, and I get motivated not to “drag the team down”. So this quote helps me at times to do just a little bit more for “the future me”.
But, today is Friday and I’m exhausted. It’s now late in the afternoon, and I really didn’t do too much today. I’m internally beating myself up, while still too brain fried to, say, continue building my app or make another video.
The easiest thing to do is probably some online shopping and call it a day. But is there something else? Something easy and effortless that I can do, that is better for my future self? That aligns with my goal of becoming a producer rather than a consumer?
And that’s where this post comes in :) Thank you so much for reading it. You are witnessing my determination to bring my inspirations to life. You are part of my journey.
I feel like I haven’t written like this since the days of Xanga, this dates me, I know. But there's something comforting about returning to a familiar format, sharing thoughts with a small group of community on the internet. It's like a personal time capsule for my thoughts and feelings right now.
At the moment, I’m feeling inspired to tell you about 3 things.
1. Effortless: Make It Easier To Do What Matters Most, by Greg Mckeown. I’m listening to this audiobook, and found comfort in some of the ideas there. Maybe someone out there needs to hear the message - that sometimes you might get better results by doing what’s effortless to you. That spending more time working doesn’t always equate to better outcomes. Because, hey, if the hardest working person are the most successful, then why aren’t cows successful?
2. This youtube video, titled “This odd mindset shift cured my procrastination forever.” by SpoonFedStudy, he’s a doctor that graduated from Harvard & Yale. I really enjoyed this video and hope you will too.
3. A shameless plug of my own video, “Unleash Your Inspiration”, where I talk about creativity and inspirations based on the book “Big Magic” by Elizabeth Gilbert. This book amplified my courage to create, to make, to build. And it taught me to accept my creation as it is, to be grateful for the process of making the video, even if nobody watches it.
I hope you find these recommendations as enriching as I did. And I wish you a wonderful weekend, one with peace, joy, and lots of inspiration. Perhaps you’ll build the app you’ve always wanted to build effortlessly, following one of my tutorials. That’ll make your future self very pleased.
XOXO, Angel.
