Update about the blind kitten:

As many of you know, the swelling in the blind kitten’s eyes has not gone down. There was a piece of tissue growing on the surface of his right cornea. Every time he tried to close his eye, his eyelid would press against this tissue, causing him pain and making him reluctant to open his eye. Additionally, discharge had started forming in his eye.

He recently underwent surgery, during which part of his eye was stitched to the upper area. The stitches will be removed in one week to allow the eye to heal more quickly.

I need your support to cover the veterinary bill. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake just struck Istanbul. Our house isn’t earthquake-resistant, so it shook very strongly. My mom and I immediately lay down on the floor next to the couch and covered our heads with our hands. The shaking lasted for about 20 seconds. We thought the house was going to collapse and were very scared. After the shaking stopped, we left the house. While trying to get the cats out, there was another aftershock. Now we’re outside. My cats are very scared and keep meowing. Everyone is out on the street. #earthquake #türkiye
