Roberto Cacciapaglia, Italian composer and pianist, was born in Milan. He received his diploma under the guidance of Bruno Bettinelli in composition from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milan. He also studied electronic music and conducting. He worked at the RAIβs Studio of Musical Phonology (Italian State broadcasting company) and also collaborated with the National Research Council (CNR) of Pisa, studying computer applications in the field of music. He is a leading protagonist in the area of innovative music. By virtue of his style in music he integrates the classical tradition with electronic experimentalism.
