The results are in and tomorrow over on Twitch I'll be doing a watch along of my favourite Fact Fiend video whilst sharing extra facts, behind the scenes stories and answering questions anyone may have.
Hope everyone is doing well, a question I’ve gotten a lot since the channel ceased making videos is the availability of copyright struck or otherwise deleted content on the channel.
Good news is that most every piece of Fact Fiend content ever made was archived. So it does still exist.
As I’m in the process of buying a house there are no immediate plans to do anything with these archives just yet but a tentative plan is to film a watch along series of viral or popular videos (including deleted ones) to provide context, behind the scenes info and share stories from the channel’s history.
Just need to sort my life out first so watch this space and cheers to everyone for the years of support.

Saikou Apparel behind the scenes to figure out what to do with all the remaining Fact Fiend merch.
They came up with the idea of a mystery box. Which is of course, brilliant and lets us make one final Simpsons reference.

The series will be called Just the Facts and will be exactly that - our videos condensed down into only the factual information relevant to the main video topic. They'll likely be under five minutes, with directions to seek out the original video if people want to see more.
You might be thinking "why do this?" Well, we've noticed that a lot of older videos on the channel don't get much attention from new viewers, but there's clearly still an audience for these videos because our shorts are doing well. This new format would allow us to potentially reach a different audience, those who prefer shorter and more to-the-point videos, while still being able to keep making the longer videos that we've always created.
