Hey everyone. It's been a while. I'm doing better in life and even ended up getting a dog a while ago. I've been on Youtube for almost 14 years at this point and i've never really stayed consistent with my content. My output frequency and types of content has changed erratically and that's harmed my ability to maintain an audience that will stick around. I can't necessarily blame the military for my schedule, i had plenty of free time in the barracks. Now that i'm out and stable, i want to do something i've been kicking around for years now, but never pulled the trigger on.
In the coming weeks, many of my videos will be hidden with a few exceptions. I want a near fresh start without having to make a new account and start from scratch. I hope you all will stick around for this next chapter and i'm excited to show you whats to come. Details will come at some point, but until then, thank you for being here.
So I lost my monetization for not posting for a while and am now being told I must meet the new minimum standards for view hours before being able to reapply for Youtube Partnership. I’ve had this channel for over 12 years and have been monetized for over 8 and am extremely disappointed.
I’ve never made an incredible profit from youtube and more or less treated this as a passive hobby, so this isnt a huge hit to my livelihood or anything, but it’s kind of sad to lose something like this and be told i essentially have to meet new requirements before i can get it back
