Vikaasa Ramdas
Vikaasa Ramdas is a Carnatic musician under the tutelage of Mandolin Maestro Padmashri Mandolin U. Shrinivas.
Passionate about music, and the mandolin, Ramdas conforms to the classical tradition while expanding his skills in bringing different genres of music to the mandolin.
Ramdas has done his arangetram at Vani Mahal on September 2008, at the age of fifteen. Since then he has been giving concerts at temples, sabhas, and other cultural and social events.
He has also regularly performed at the Margazhi Music Festival in Chennai for the last few years, as well as the Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival at Thiruvaiyaru. He has also recently played during the Spirit of Youth Festival which was held at Music Academy, Chennai.
Ramdas has released an independent debut album in 2013, called 'Guru's Feet'. Music videos from the album are available on this channel.
