Hi, we’re Laura & Jerry! Our small farm is located just outside of Quilcene, Washington.
Come along for an incredible year as we focus on our two passions – fresh flowers & gourmet garlic.
But that’s not everything! A big part of what we love is sharing with you all the wonderful things we’ve learned in the garden & in the kitchen. It’s all about growing lovely things, eating great food, and enjoying life! Very much hobbit vibes.

Happy Friday! This morning I put the finishing touches on our first batch of squash flour! It's shredded, dehydrated zucchini, that's been finely ground. Apparently it's just like coconut flour. I can't wait to give it a whirl!! What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Our fruit trees arrived yesterday! Woohoo! We're so excited to be building a small orchard at the new property. Although I have to say the delivery was a little anticlimactic. Crazy that they fit 10 trees and 6 bushes in those skinny little boxes! Check out our Talking Trees video for the specific varieties we're planting...

Well, we ended up ordering our fruit & nut trees tonight after posting the latest video. The order was still over $500 🤦♀️ We have no patience & want all the things 😂 It's hopeless...🤷♀️
