The Near East Cultural and Educational Foundation of Canada (NECEF) was founded in 1984. NECEF is a volunteer based organization that operates on two broad defining objectives: to promote a greater understanding of history, culture and contemporary situation in the Middle East, focusing on the Arab World; and, to fund humanitarian, educational, development and health related projects in the region.
