What is Felted Cashmere?

Felted cashmere is simply the process of agitating the cashmere fibers of a hand-loomed scarf with the help of heat, moisture, and alkaline agents such as cashmere soaps and shampoo. This causes the fibers to interlock and matte into each other. The fiber intermingles with one another, forming strong locks. The strength and durability of the cashmere scarf increase. Not only that, as more air is trapped between the fibers, the insulating property of the scarf elevates. Aesthetically, the texture looks interesting and appealing. We add extra steps to make the Cashmere more sheer, chic, and strong.
