This week we will be re-airing a new version of full show with all the music and everything live on Twitch, and will have the episodes posted here and on Patreon afterwards. If you're a listener of this stupid show, we appreciate your patience as we navigated our way of that treacherous hellstorm brought upon us. If you're wondering what happened, well it will all be addressed on the show in due time.

In case you missed it: We were invited to do this hour on NTS's Night Shift show earlier this month. So this is a bit of a different kind of show built around the late night themes of Night Shift. It's about insomnia, memory, and the corrosiveness of intrusive thoughts. Something like that. Anyway, back in the next week or so with Randy so don't worry about it. "Anyone that's ever worked a "night shift" (bars, hospitals, taxis, etc.) knows that there's a strange time of night, usually around 4:30-5:30 am, when the most subtle sounds of the world seem extra dramatic. The sound of a lighter dropping at a gas station. Or the wind through palm trees. The kind of sounds that you don't get the chance to hear when the rest of the world is aroused, but in the context of more ambient, experimental, and dark music, is inspiring and suggestive. It's the music of film noir, Miles Davis, and Edward Hopper paintings, but also early AM radio classical music, Boards of Canada, Sunn 0))), Headless Horseman, Wolves in the Throne Room. Night shift always takes on the flavor of the guest's preference but is built around that time of night, and the music that makes you think or feel it."

I'm doing an hour long show on NTS Radio tonight at 9PM EST. It's on the Night Shift show (which rules by the way). It's kind of like Radio Hour but also not really at all! It was inspired by late night radio, insomnia, unexplainable memories, nightmares, and the wonderful nature of intrusive thoughts. Please enjoy.

Anyone that's ever worked a "night shift" (bars, hospitals, taxis, etc.) knows that there's a strange time of night, usually around 4:30-5:30 am, when the most subtle sounds of the world seem extra dramatic. The example I usually use is the sound of a lighter dropping at a gas station. Or the sound of wind through palm trees. The kind of sounds that you don't get the chance to hear when the rest of the world is aroused, but in the context of more ambient, experimental, and dark music, is inspiring and suggestive. Tomorrow night, we're summoning the legendary hell DJ Gordon Centipede to host this special MUSICAL dance party edition of the Elephant Graveyard Radio Hour broadcast. Gord's gonna be remixing and mashing up a torrent of hell, hedonism, torment, lust, coming of age, and suffering.

Now our wonderful lawyer has advised us to warn you all with peace and love that this episode is a little bit different than our regular broadcast, so thanks and sorry in advance for that. But it had to be this way (no free will, etc.)

Hi everyone. Unfortunately one of our wonderful staff members has been abducted and dragged into a deep dark wood by some upset Joe Rogan acolytes. We are working with local search and rescue to try and recover him, but even we have to be realistic and admit the chances of finding him are slim.

The cold fall air has been flowing into our Northern Canadian forest during these late summer nights, and the excruciating exposure he's enduring is likely to be fatal. We can hold out hope, but these acolytes are real bad guys, and they are very, very upset. And they have dragged him very deep into those woods.

Anyway we have regained control of the channel from those bad guys, and promise there will be lots more videos on the way. We will leave their snuff film up out of respect for our fallen brother.
