I've implemented custom materials, cleaned up a bunch of code and added diamond knapping! Currently knapping is just the same as smithing, just on another block and without heating, but I want knapping to be different from smithing by only allowing the removal of voxels, so I'll be working on that next.
I've resumed working on voxelsmith and just wanted to let you all know that the long awaited stone and diamond knapping is on its way! It's still got a while to go but you can expect the update to drop this month.
Hi everyone! I've continued work on the colors, and implemented a color mixing function depending on the temperature of the metal! Might have to tweak some variables, but the functionality is there.
Hey there everyone! I'm working on the next update for Voxelsmith, the smithing datapack, and I've just changed out the voxels to allow me to display any color without a resource pack! You'll of course still need the resourcepack for item models, but this allows me to do dynamic, temperature based color. As seen below. Tell me what you think!
