This is the channel for the hand drawn experimental animation of D. "Sky-David" Pies and for media presentations related to my work in Integrative Physical Therapy with its emphasis on lymphatic therapy. The animation arrises from the two years that I attended the animation program at California Institute of the Arts, 1972-74 and continues throughout my life. Cal Arts early history was a very vital time for the experimental animation program under the direction of Jules Engel. All of these films explore dimensions of the narrative through a poetic and lyrical expression. They range in content from life sciences (evolution) to LIGHT with a journey through documentary animation based on my own sketchbook diary made during active combat in the late 1960's. All of this is crafted by my hands touching the surface of the paper as a "living skin". That is where the "Magic" resides.
