Hiiiiii friends! so after literal weeks of thinking about it, I've decided that I won't be making a Dan and Phil year in review video for 2025. As I said when I made last year's video, the entire thing took me around 80 hours to research, film, and edit. When i made last year's video during winter break, I was in a very strange place mental health wise and also staying home doing nothing most days which was how I was able to dedicate so much time to it. This break, however, I'm in a much better place and also getting out and doing a lot more things and honestly, when I thought about it, I didn't want to sacrifice all of that for the sake of this video. I also know that when I go back to school there is no way in hell I will have the time to make anything, let alone a project of this nature. Honestly, the only thing holding me back from canceling the project for this long is that I knew if I did end up making it it would get a lot of views and rake in a decent amount of money. But that's just not the outlook I want to have on my channel. I make videos that excite me, that I want to make. The fact that I get to monetize them is great but I never want to make it my top priority, especially since I have other sources of income besides YouTube. So yeah, the TLDR is that I'm not making a Dan and Phil year in review for 2025. If it wasn't such a time sensitive project I'd say there could come a day when I'd feel inspired to make it but every day that goes by into the new year it's relevance wanes and uploading a year in review for 2025 in like May or something would just be ridiculous. However, I do have some really exciting Dan and Phil related content coming very soon! I shan't reveal any more details but trust me, it's good, so stay tuned for that. I hope 2026 is treating you all well and I'll see you very soon!

I recently hit 1000 subscribers which is so crazy and not something i ever thought would happen! i know that's not actually that much in the grand scheme of things but to me it's absolutely huge!!! i've been wondering if i should make some sort of 1000 subscribers special to commemorate this bonkers achievement so let me know if you guys have ideas of what you'd like to see from me!
