In 2011, my wife and I discovered reborn baby dolls while browsing eBay for Monster High dolls. My wife bought me my first reborn baby doll shortly after that and it has been an addiction ever since then.
I have been featured on The Daily Dot (www.dailydot.com/unclick/reborn-dolls-online-commu… ABC30 News (abc30.com/1770212/), the New York Post (nypost.com/2016/02/24/meet-the-mom-whose-fake-babi… the The DRs (youtube.com/watch?v=VuXG696Ofts) and HBO bought 15 seconds from one of my YouTube videos, which was used in an HBO series called 'My Strange Addiction.'
I upload daily on all my social media platforms daily. You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. Just search 'nlovewithreborns2011' to find me on those platforms.

I want to thank everyone who has shown kindness and support to Jackie and me during this situation. The encouragement and understanding we have received have genuinely meant a great deal.
For clarity, our Facebook accounts and the All Dolls Matter group were removed under a child safety policy classification. This was not related to counterfeit items, stolen products, or anything being claimed within community discussions. Facebook provided the specific policy category involved.
There has been a considerable amount of public commentary, speculation, and statements being made about both myself and this situation. I want to be very clear that false assumptions, mischaracterizations, and the spread of inaccurate information have real consequences.
At this time, we are actively working with legal counsel regarding the events that led to our account removals and the subsequent public claims that have been made. Because of this, we are being extremely deliberate in how we proceed and are allowing proper channels to address the matter appropriately.
I would strongly encourage anyone discussing this situation publicly to ensure that what they are sharing is accurate and responsible.
To those who have remained respectful and supportive, thank you. We appreciate your patience while this is handled properly.
If you don't want to miss out on content from us. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. We love and miss you all!

Many of you have noticed that my Facebook account, my wife’s Facebook account, and the All Dolls Matter group are no longer available.
To clarify what happened, the group was not removed for counterfeits, stolen items, or anything related to dolls themselves. The removal fell under a child safety policy classification. Because of how Facebook’s systems operate, that action also impacted both my account and my wife’s account.
This has had a very real effect on our business, our communication, and our income.
This morning, I did not know who was responsible for triggering this situation. However, I was later sent a screenshot showing Abby publicly discussing and taking credit for reporting the group.
Now, ABBY BYRD, I’d like to address this.
There appears to be significant confusion about why the group was removed. It was not taken down because of “counterfeits” or “toxic vinyl,” despite those claims being repeated. Those statements are simply inaccurate.
The ongoing narrative about these kits being counterfeit ignores a key legal reality: intellectual property protections are not always secured during manufacturing in China. The vinyl material itself is not unique from one kit to another. The industry uses fundamentally the same base materials.
What is extremely serious here is the reporting category that was used and the consequences that followed. The removal did not occur under counterfeit or intellectual property claims. It occurred under a child safety classification, which carries far more severe implications.
As a result, I am now dealing with loss of income, loss of business access, and potential long-term damage to my accounts. This is not social media drama. This directly affects my livelihood.
Because of the severity of the harm caused by this situation, I will be pursuing appropriate legal avenues to address the matter properly.

We are officially ambassadors for Kebelka Paints.
These paints were previously available in America, but that changed after Kebelka chose to openly discuss facts and legalities surrounding reproduced kits. Because she spoke about the legal realities of manufacturing and reproduction, many American/Canadian doll vendors stopped carrying her products.
Regardless of opinions, facts remain facts.
After seeing how strongly I stand on accuracy, facts, and legal understanding within this hobby, Kebelka personally reached out to me. We had some very honest conversations, and as a result, we are now working together to make Kebelka Paints accessible to artists in America once again.
Kebelka paint line is comparable to Genesis. The behavior, the consistency, the way the colors work… it is remarkably similar.
Kebelka Paints have already been extremely successful in Spain, where many artists love and rely on them. We are excited to finally bring them back to American artists as well as make them available to international customers through our website.
We will be offering the paints very soon. There is a total of 40 different colors. If you want to be notified the moment they are available, make sure you are registered on the site. An email announcement will go out as soon as they are in stock.
In addition to the paints, we will also be carrying varnishes. Anyone experienced with heat set products understands how critical a good varnish is, and Kebelka’s heat set varnish is truly impressive.
More details coming soon.

Coming soon.
I will be sharing something tomorrow that is going to surprise a lot of people.
This is something that has the potential to set a new standard for American artists. Some people will love it, some people probably won’t, but that’s usually what happens when something big is introduced.
Make sure you check back tomorrow. You genuinely do not want to miss this.

There’s a difference between personal opinion and factual accuracy.
These kits are not knockoffs! They are legally produced due to unprotected artwork during manufacturing.
Persistently labeling legal products as knockoffs and targeting people who purchase them crosses from opinion into harassment. This behavior has harmed this community before and needs to stop.
Repeatedly directing these claims at the same individuals shifts the focus away from facts and onto personal targeting. Buyers are not the issue here. The issue is a continued misunderstanding of the legalities involved in manufacturing, which leads to the spread of misinformation.
When misinformation continues to be directed at others, I will continue sharing accurate information about the legal framework so people can make informed decisions. Ongoing behavior like this affects public perception about you Bobbie, far more than factual discussion ever does.
However, Bobbie, if there is evidence that the artwork is IP-protected during manufacturing, sharing verifiable facts and documentation would be far more productive than bullying or repeating unsupported claims.
If you had morals you wouldn't be targeting people and spreading misinformation.

This is where nuance matters, and where a lot of confusion keeps happening thanks to people like this.
The Berne Convention absolutely protects original artistic works (including sculptures) from unauthorized copying. No one is disputing that.
However, the Berne Convention does not govern commercial manufacturing relationships, licensing terms, ownership transfers, or ongoing production rights once an artist voluntarily enters mass production with a factory.
When an artist contracts with a manufacturer to produce a sculpt as a commercial product, reproduction rights are defined by contract law, licensing agreements, trademarks, and design patents. Not Berne alone.
Berne provides copyright protection. It does not:
• police factories
• enforce contracts
• determine who owns molds
• prevent continued production when contractual protections were not secured
• or override manufacturing law in the producing country
That’s why enforcement happens after the fact, varies by country, and depends entirely on what legal protections were actually put in place beyond copyright.
This is also why platforms like AliExpress can legally sell items, unless a valid IP claim is filed and upheld. They do not determine artistic authorship. They enforce documented legal rights.
Calling everything “counterfeit” without acknowledging the difference between unauthorized copying and failed IP protection in commercial manufacturing oversimplifies the issue and spreads confusion.
This isn’t about feelings, loyalty, or insults. It’s about how international copyright and manufacturing law actually work in practice.
