No solar, no gasoline and no batteries other than cold fusion and hot fusion would work on a submarine for years under water. Also on a space station you always need a backup nuclear powered generator in case the solar panels break. Would you really be comfortable sending your family members into space or on a submarine without a nuclear powered backup generator to be used in case of emergency? I wouldn’t! #getuptospeed
