The Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, has empowered 80 Nigerians with a total of ₦800 million through his business grant initiative.

The empowerment program, aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners, saw each beneficiary receive ₦10 million to strengthen and expand their businesses.

The grant ceremony is taking place at the MBB Event Center along Refinery Road in Uvwie, Delta State, where beneficiaries and invited guests gathered to witness the empowerment initiative.

To young or impressionable viewers, the difference between performance and reality is often unclear. What is staged for comedy, attention, or online engagement can easily be misunderstood as acceptable behavior. The repeated visual exposure to such content risks normalizing dangerous substances and encouraging unsafe curiosity.

Nigeria today has millions of minors with access to smartphones, often without supervision. When influential personalities simulate harmful acts, the consequences may extend far beyond the screen. A child attempting to imitate what appears online could face serious health risks.

This is why the issue must be treated as a public safety concern, not merely online entertainment.

GbaramatuVoice calls on the Federal Government, the National Orientation Agency (NOA), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), and relevant authorities to urgently address this growing digital trend before it escalates into a national problem.
