I am on my lunch break at work. This is not my lunch, but instead part of what we do during this Kanazawa walking tour.

So I've been to the famous Snow Wall of Japan on Mount Takeyama.
It's quite a challenging tour to do! But 2 have been done this week.
I will be recording a video on this tour for next Saturday. Just to kind of go over the Snow Wall, tell you about the trip to that location, the good and the MUST KNOW of the Snow Wall and my overall thoughts.
I'm happy to finally have a day off tomorrow as this tour has really left me exhausted!

Over the last 24 hours, this channel went over 100 subscribers.
I'm honestly both surprised and very pleased. I was actually amazed at even reaching 50. I'm super excited to see if the channel will reach 200.
I just want to thank those of you that have been watching and checking in. It's nice to have a wee community slowly build up.
To celebrate, I will be going to a dentist check-up this afternoon here in Japan...
Originally, it was booked for a later date, but I got an earlier appointment sorted when I was recording a video earlier in the week.

A number of days ago, my wife and I went out for a lovely meal together at a Hawaiian restaurant. We hadn't been there before, but it's safe to say we would go back! I was happy with what I got, but if I could have done it all over again, I definitely would have gotten the pancakes!! I know what I will be getting next time!
I have been very busy the past few days being trained up to conduct another tour route.
The proper video I intend to make is on the topic of my current job. I think being a tour guide in Japan is somewhat unique, as most people become English language teachers.
I will share what it is like to be a tour guide, how I am trained, and even how I study and learn to do the job.
It will take some time to put this video together as I have a busy week, but I will be doing my best to get it done for Saturday.

50 and now 51 subscribers. I just want to give a big thank you to all who have subscribed. I didn't think I would get 10 subscribers let alone 51. Thanks for the support, the likes, the conversation and the views. It's such a great motivator for me.
I will continue to do my best to v-log life in Japan and provide insight on what it is like to live here.
I have another full day tour tomorrow of 22000 steps! So it will be a tiring evening this time tomorrow.
I have already started on a video for this Saturday and I hope to get it all edited during the week.

My first day as a tour guide was a positive one. I had 4 guests on the tour, all of which were very polite, talkative and inquisitive. Despite the day being snowy and around 0 degrees Celsius it was still fun.
I got to enjoy some matcha tea as well which is a bonus!
I intend to make a video regarding my job and experiences sometime this month when I have gotten a few more shifts under my belt.
There are a few more short videos planned for the upcoming days as well as a full video around the weekend. The video will consist of some DIY shopping, tips and delicious food.

This week I have another Japan, Kanazawa City culture video coming out. This one will debut later in the week and will feature Kanazawa City's Oyama Shrine. I will tour around it, share its origins as well as significant monuments. I am excited to share this video as I enjoyed making it.

Yesterday i celebrated my first birthday in Japan. It was a very special day and an enjoyable one too! I still feel full from all the food we ate! Thank you to my wife for putting together a wonderful feast!!
I have a Pokemon short video coming out tonight as well as a new full video coming out on Friday night. It will go over my journey to find a local church in Japan.
