Help me out: is there a great summer boot that ISN’T a chukka?
In my mind, a great summer boot would be unlined with a leather sole ( but I’ll accept crepe) and like a nice thin porous suede upper, but nubuck and aniline leathers can breathe pretty well too.
I know that leather soles are unpopular (even though they’re breathable!) and people don’t like the floppy look of thin unlined uppers (even though they’re breathable!) but I figure SOMEONE must have made a breathability optimized boot, right?

I kinda feel like these are the most legit "tough" Chelsea boots, which is a very hard category to nail. Unlike, say, loggers and moc toes, Chelsea boot's origins aren't as work boots; the first pair were walking boots for Queen Victoria.
So you don't often see *heritage*, *Chelsea*, *work* boots and when someone does try to make a really meaty, PNW-style Chelsea it just looks... weird. Square-peg-in-a-round-hole weird.
What's cool about the Chelsea from Colombia's Bordon is that it's not chunky — it still looks like a Chelsea boot, in other words — but they made it with ultra tough double row stitchdown construction and vegetable tanned Wickett and Craig leather.
These boots have a 9-month waitlist right now though, so, you know. Pretty god damn lame, but the price of $409 for stitchdown Wickett and Craig is a PRETTY compelling proposition even with the wait: ktku.co/ix
What are good boot brands for narrow feet? I've got Allen Edmonds and Adelante and that's about it. Alden and Nicks, but for narrow widths you gotta wait like 6 months from those guys. Surely there are more than two companies with narrow fits?
What's a famous WINTER jacket/coat you love? I'm doing a winter version of this fall jackets video. I've got Filson's Mackinaw, USN pea coat, B3 sheepskin leather bomber, and a couple others but I want to hear suggestions
