Alright, very different community post than I normally make but this issue is getting too big to ignore. YouTube clearly doesn’t care and there are almost no big creators that could actually change YouTube’s mind talking about it so I’m gonna remind all of yall:

DO. NOT. GIVE YOUR ID TO YOUTUBE. MAKE SURE THAT THIS WHOLE AI VERIFICATION THING FALLS THROUGH. REMEMBER: THIS IS NOT ABOUT PROTECTING ANYONE, THIS IS PURELY TO GET MORE INFORMATION.

I do not care what you have to do, ignore the identification, boycott YouTube, whatever. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ID. IT IS NOT WORTH IT TO WATCH YOUTUBE.

Had to speak out about it. This is by far the stupidest thing they’ve ever done and I cannot believe there aren’t more people talking about it. Actual insane world we live in where “give your identity to a random corporation” is just treated like another terms and service update.
