J&K BOPEE Invites Applications for Nursing, Paramedical, and Technology Courses for 2025
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released multiple notifications inviting online applications for admission to various professional courses for the academic session 2025. Eligible candidates from J&K and Ladakh can apply for B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical, and Technology courses, as well as 12th and 10th-based paramedical diploma programs.
Candidates seeking admission to these courses in government and private colleges of J&K must appear for a Common Entrance Test conducted by JKBOPEE. The selection process will be governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002.
2. 12th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses
Includes courses such as X-ray Technology, Dental Assistant, ECG Technology, Medical/Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Assistant, and Medical Record Technology (MRT).
Salal Dam ( Jammu and kashmir) š ______________________________________________ The Salal Dam is located on theĀ Chenab RiverĀ in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.Ā The dam is also known as the Salal Hydroelectric Power Station.Ā The project was the first hydropower project established in Jammu and Kashmir under the Indus Water Treaty regime.Ā

The dam's design includes a two-stage powerhouse that generates 690 MW of power.Ā The project benefits the states of Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan.Ā The project was conceived in 1920, and feasibility studies began in 1961.Ā The Central Hydroelectric Project Control Board, under the Government of India's Ministry of Irrigation and Power, began construction in 1970.
