Sotomayor is the music project of siblings Paulina and Raul from Mexico City, an elegant blend between afro latin rhythms and electronic beats. In 2015 they release " Salvaje", their debut album, since then they became an essential listen from the Latin American scene, becoming an essential piece of the "New Latin Wave".
2026 will see the release of it's 4th studio album “WABI SABI”. This is their first album in 6 years, an album that marks a 10 year anniversary for the project. “WABI SABI” was composed in only 2 weeks in October 2024 in Raúl’s studio in Mexico City “Kaya Records”. And was recorded in Puerto Rico, in Eduardo Cabra's studio “La Casa del Sombrero” in May 2025 in only 10 days.
