While it wasn't enough to make me want to use High Resolution Texture Pack, the update had immediate performance improvement I could feel, even on a 4080 (NOTE: i mean that i never had big issues before since my card is expensive and powerful, so i am surpirsed even at this level we can feel a noticable change).
Hope their patch helped make Wilds more playable for you guys too. Here is a pic i managed to snap while testing, my fav pic i have taken in the game!
I really feel like I missed my opportunity to do much video content in Wilds and the reasons are several. Health being up and down, work being busy, and most importantly, making a very conscious choice to prioritize gaming and just being present with my daughter.
Most parents experience their kids growing apart as their kids turn 16-18 and seek independence, so being privileged that we are still besties, I’m not willing to trade any evening of just gaming or geeking out together to do anything else.
I love YouTube and plan to do more but felt it was important to say why I’ve been less active. Luckily this community has tons of great guide creators but I do miss dismantling and explaining stuff as it’s how I also learn ^^/

I LoVE Gogma in wilds it’s so awesome!!! I wanted to do vids on it and the festival (gorgeous armor) but I have family commitments for the holidays. Hope you all are enjoying TU4 as much as I am. Happy holidays!
Having blasted through Ryza 1-3 in a month, I am swarming with thoughts, I know the vid will be niche to start so I want to let this soup cook and condense before I attempt a vid. I love this storm of thoughts and just simmering in it, each Atelier subseries does this to me.
It is funny that for all the out-of-game focus on Ryza's physical allure, the game has almost no "fan service" skits like the previous Atelier games, outside some saucy angles when Ryza wiggles through entryways. It's almost absurdly pure and cozy, the characters are so wholesome.
So the phrase that comes to mind is "don't hate me becuase I'm beautiful" as the out-of-game focus on Ryza's visual appeal put me off from trying the series until last of the modern Atelier series, and I can say confidently that was wrong.
If you have any questions about Ryza trilogy or the DX versions in particular (on switch 2), please let me know in comments for this post and I'll make sure when i do make a vid to try to answer the majority!

I really wanted to dislike Ryza - it was her that marked the end of cute frills and ushered in the era of "sexy" in Atelier and she just dominates in terms of product and most of it focuses on her butt and thighs, but honestly, she is so damn wholesome, fun, and adorable that I can't hate her because of how she was designed.
Ryza DX was a fabulous game and the new additions are very good. I played on Switch 2 and for those curious: it is in 1080p on TV and 1080p (upscaled 720) on handheld, but the game looks stunning in handheld with the crisp visuals and rich colors compared to the original. 30fps locked but in handheld mode it feels close to 60 and i used a slo-mo cam to find out why and it's indeed utilizing the VRR of the screen to great effect. For this type of game 30fps ended up being fine and I fine this type of game benifits from being able to play on the go. But go PS5/PC if you plan to play soley on monitor at home.
Anyway, I'll get a video made but I want to do it right, just know that RYZA IS AS GOOD AS THEY SAY IT WAS, in fact, never better thanks to the DX release. Superb game, can't wait to clean up all the extra DLC, side stories, post game stuff, and move onto Ryza 2!
