Welcome to Faith Outside The Watchtower, a safe space for those navigating the complexities of faith and doubt within the Jehovah's Witness community. After spending 36 years, born/raised 3rd generation Jehovah's Witness, I experienced a profound shift in my life following a traumatic event. My journey led me through 22 more years of believing I had deserted God & He didn't care, ultimately leading to a very deep depression. After an unexpected recovery from overwhelm sadness and still not sure where my faith stood, I decided I needed to pray and ask God to please help me find His truth, if it was an organization I would return, what I found was His word alone, The Bible! The Bible alone is where truth can be found. It's not within an organization at all. Ultimately prompting me to question the very foundation everything I thought was true.
