Association of Dominican Classical Artists, Inc.

Founded and based in New York City, the Association of Dominican Classical Artists, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) performing arts organization dedicated to promoting classical music; its composers and interpreters from Latin America. As a resident company at Aaron Davis Hall, ADCA brings live performances of classical, folkloric and traditional Latin American music to Upper Manhattan communities through a series of free orchestral and chamber music concerts. In partnership with City College Center for the Arts, ADCA has presented four concerts a year for the last six years. The concerts showcase performers from Latin America and promote the music from Latin American classical composers that have little chance to be heard in NYC. ADCA supports the Washington Heights Community Conservatory of Fine Arts and the chamber ensemble La Camerata Washington Heights. Since its founding in 1980, ADCA has presented its concerts in some of the most prestigious venues in New York.
