This week, it is Grandfather Nurgle, the God of decay, disease, and despair, and his offer is but a paradox of generosity and corruption. Among all of the four Chaos Gods, Nurgle's cult provides the most stable framework with relatively the least chaos thanks to powerful tenets that bond the worshippers together like any others in the galaxy. This deep dive into the Nurglean cult examines how such framework, despite its delusional claims, provides stability and cohesion to factions worshipping the Plague God, including through the concept of the Garden as a Nurglean Eden. Also discussed in this video is how this cult does additionally provide the worshippers, unlike the case of other chaos gods, with a fatherly bond to their deity. Nurgle exploits such bonds to swell his ranks and manipulate his followers.
