Thinking upgrading to 10GbE for your homelab isn't enough? How about 25GbE? How about 100GbE?
The MikroTik CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN is an absolute beast of a switch with 8x 25GbE SFP28 ports and 2x 100GbE QSFP ports for nearly all the high-bandwidth connections you'd ever need. Power consumption with no load comes in at a loooow 14W.
While cost new is pushing $900, you can find these units used for around $400-500. Well worth it for would likely be your forever big-bandwidth switch.

Used high endurance enterprise NVMes for your homelab have gotten down to some pretty good prices over the past year. Right now you can pick up Gen3 SK hynix PE6110 1.92TB NVMes for ~$120, or about the same price as new 2TB Gen4 consumer NVMes.
While not reaching the insane 7,000 MB/s read performance of Gen4 consumer drives, the Gen3 3,200 MB/s read and 1,900 MB/s write speed, coupled with sky-high endurance, makes them a perfect fit for heavy write applications.
For example, a Samsung 990 Pro or WD Black SN850X has a TBW (amount of data written before potential failure under warranty) of 1,200 TB. In contrast, the SK hynix PE6110 boasts a massive 3,504 TB TBW—nearly 3x the endurance!

Saved a couple of Nvidia Quadro FX 3500s from crossing over into the forever dumpster.
Time clean these 2006 relics up and maybe toss them in a QX6700 or E6700 build. Pretty much a scaled down Quadro FX 5500, they each feature 256MBs of GDDR3 and a G71GL GPU clocked in at 325MHz, based on the G71 from Nvidia's GeForce 7 Series. And yes, they're SLI capable!

Dual 1.92TB Samsung PM983 NVMes, for when you need an extra little boost in I/O for that 48TB ZFS striped mirror spinning rust array.
Using a PA41 quad M.2 NVMe PCIe adapter with bifurcation enabled, these two enterprise NVMes will be mirrored and partitioned to leverage SLOG and metadata storage for ZFS, potentially boosting I/O performance by 2-3x for demanding workloads.
