Welcome to the Sky Lights Channel. These animations help explain the science behind interesting natural phenomena. We cover astronomy, meteorology, climatology, chemistry, physics, optics, earth & space science, and more. My lessons have been useful to home-schoolers, teachers and students in the classroom, and inquisitive observers of Nature.
I'm Dan Heim, a science teacher for 30 years, and a lifelong skygazer day and night. Now retired to the Arizona desert, I continue teaching here on YouTube, and on my weekly blog Sky Lights.
I create my content using the Corel suite of graphics apps, Adobe Photo-Paint, Premiere and After Effects, and LightWave 3D. Channel art by NASA HST.
