Porter has dedicated her career to standing up for California families. Through committee hearings, she’s used her signature whiteboard to ask tough questions of CEOs and get answers from administration officials—including securing free COVID tests for every American.

She currently serves on the Oversight Committee, Natural Resources Committee, and Joint Economic Committee, where she's working to crack down on waste, fraud, and abuse, protect our environment from polluters, and tackle the affordable housing crisis. As a single mom of three school-aged children, Rep. Porter uniquely understands the challenges Californians face and is dedicated to shaking up Washington to deliver for families.
