So a few days ago I had this genius idea while I was at work trying to forget the fact that I was at work (as one does). What was this idea? Well it's been a minute since I've done the random duos tourney, hmmmm... oh I know let's make a huge edit for it.
So I found a song (I dare not spoil) but here is the thing... on paper this would be cool and after its done it probably will be
However, lets do some math. An average edit from me is a 1v1 between 2 characters that have 4 images each, I find the images I wanna use throw them through 3d zoom and when all is said and done kaboom I have 8 images cool stuff I know
Now, after mapping out this particular song, I realized I had room for get this shit- 10 matchups 💀💀💀 "well that isnt that bad"
Wrong
Because these arent normal edits, these are rando duos, which means 4 images per character per match up, for a total of 16 images per match up for 10 matches we are talking 160 images in total 💀💀💀
Oh and I also had the pleasure of beat syncing which if you've ever done manually for editing you know how much fun that is
I am losing my mind but this- this is the greatest part...
Despite working on this edit for a MINIMUM of 8 hours...
I havent even started the actual edit 💀 everything I did today- and I haven't even typed "Introduction" on the first matchup...
Oh and for the cherry on top thanks to @HoriZen5 who helped with the hellscape process taking around 50 3d zooms off my back 😭😭😭
Ahem. Anyways I hope to lock in on this tomorrow take care y'all 🥂
A fairly short yuri manga which was recommended to me by multiple people I call friends and did it live up to the hype? For me it wasn't quite there
Let speak clearly it was really damn good and I do recommend it for sure especially with it only clocking in at 32 chapters the story does feel proper and complete. Despite its shorter runtime the emotional beats were still executed really well and the main dynamic between Shizuku and Kaori was pretty good on the whole.
All in all this was a really good read that really respects the time you put into it and I'm glad I took the time to read it even though I called the ending from around the halfway point. Anyways I'd give this a solid 9/10

Overall the quality was a little higher here, props to Ari for being one of the least awful people in this story
Nicole is a pretty fascinating character with how deporable she is at points whilst being able to keep the audience on her side throughout these awful things she does in most routes
Anyways I had a fun time with it, ive literally not heard anything good about the flipside so im looking forward to how bad this train crash is
Didnt really plan on it but finished Class of '09 ✅️
Ended up binging this in one sitting and I can confidently say I uh- dont really recommend it with an asterick
First of all, play this only if you're okay with some really graphic topics cuz this shit does not hold back 😭
Second of all, if you're looking for good writing uhhhh
I don't actually think the whole cast is poorly written but Nicole is really the only somewhat standout and she's the only charcter really worth picking apart
Seeing all these different butterfly effects that could occur based on whatever messed up shit goes on in Nicole's head is actually somewhat interesting to me
And even when she was doing some uh- not great things 💀💀💀 I still found her to be a compelling protagonist if nothing else
All in all, I'd be lying if I said I recommend this but Nicole is a W and I got some good laughs out of this, might play the Re-Up tmrw we'll see

Finished the Summer You Were There ✅️
