Hi everyone, Albert here, this will be quick.
I just want to send an update regarding the status of our family. I wanted to post an update sooner but things went bad real quick. I would first also want to thank those who supported us and are still supporting us through this very hard time for our family.
Today is the day our aunt is going to be cremated.
Our aunt passed away on Sunday 4:20pm from undiagnosed stage 4 breast cancer and multiple complications. She brought our 2 shihtzu's with her. Helga (11) who was at the vet dealing with blood infection at the time followed her person the following day, Monday-4th of August at around 4pm. The day after that as we went home from my Tita's wake our other dog Hagrid (15) who was already showing signs of blindness and dementia due to his age also passed away at midnight Tuesday-5th of August.
The first photo is a photo of the casket. Under are the ashes of our doggies.
The second and third photos are hagrid and tita when they were younger and older. the 4th picture is a cute picture of hagrid under a pillow and the 5th picture is helga wearing a cute dress.
Cherry, my brother's dog is okay she's recovering right now.
To those asking, when I'll get to it I'll see if I can upload videos of my brother that hasn't been uploaded yet and if there are patreon videos I'll have to figure these out if there are exclusives that I can put up on youtube for my brother's viewers to see.
as of now that's where we're at.

Hi, this is Albert. It's the 9th day since my brother passed away. To some that might just be another day. For our family it's a milestone in our grieving process. I'm sorry I haven't been able to post as much updates as I wanted. Before anything else. I want to thank everyone who left a message. I want to thank the people who has my brother in their hearts. As much as I want to respond to everyone individually the pain still bears heavy in my heart although lighter now as days has gone-by. I want to thank those also helped financially. We were able to go through with my brother's funeral without any issues and pay-off bills we had this month. We couldn't have done it without you. Rest assured every single message is treasured by the family. Right now we're currently holding a prayer service for my brother a thing we do during the 9th day someone has passed away. So many people came to offer their condolences. Truly my brother has been loved by many and cherished a lot by the people he meets.
I'll leave a video of him being carried away in his casket. If there's any direct messages written to me or any other member of our family that hasn't been replied to yet we're sorry. If ever you feel like there's not enough updates in a span of time we're sorry. I'll try to keep you guys updated until we're able to find my brother's urn a nice place to stay and until his 40th day.
It still feels like a dream. We were all asleep when the accident happened. We woke up and our lives were changed in an instant. My lola still cries for my brother a lot. My dad has been trying to cope with jokes when he's usually a serious guy. Everything is emotionally heavy. You guys are with us as we grieve. To my brother you guys, his community, is also part of his family and an extension ours.
Other updates. My tita is confirmed to have cancer and Cherry the dog is recovering well. My brother's girlfriend is still grieving a lot and we asked her to stay with us until the foreseeable future. thank you for all your care and support. I'm not the best with words, but I hoped my updates reaches you well.
To those who hasn't heard of what happened here's my wife's update last week. youtube.com/post/Ugkxf15WHTTl49w1Tvy-JPi8uV6If18L6…

out and send love to the beloved captain.

- Krizzia
I would like to thank you to all your support. I know you guys been there since day one till then and
you witnessed the hard work that Allec Joshua Ibay put on this work. I am hoping that this wont the
end. I appreaciate all your your effort to send love to my Fallen brother..

Hi, it's Kobe again.
Thank you all for the donation and the unwavering support. My only hope is that Allec, in some ways, will be able to read all of your heartfelt messages. Like most of you said, he is one with the skies and the stars now.
We also just learned that he passed the exam in Philippine Coast Guard. We are happy and heartbroken at the same time. I hope he is happy out there.
Cherry has already been sent to the vet. We are monitoring her and giving her medicine as prescribed. We will send her to an ortho doctor once her bowel movement improves. The funeral cost has also been settled and his cremation will be this afternoon. Our Aunt Aileen is still in the hospital so hospital bills are still piling up.
Thank you again. I can't express how much we are comforted by your messages and your donations.
I know most of you haven't seen my brother in law or doesn't know him by his face. I'll share here a couple of pictures to see glimpses of him in real life.
-Kobe
Hi. My name is Albert I'm the brother of Kuya allec. My brother allowed me to finish college and I make his thumbnails for him. If ever you saw simply explained, a short lived experimental video channel I was the voice behind that.
I would like to extend my appreciation to those who sent their heartful messages to my brother. I am in awe at how many people he has inspired. I know my brother rarely shows himself if ever to the people here watching. Do know that he keeps your messages close to his heart even when he was still alive. It kept him going and made him feel that what he's doing is something real. My brother is passionate about the things he loved. Even though it wasn't a lot, it mainly revolved around aviation, military history, the sims, gta, and gundam. He would spend all day reading up every minute detail in every article and every wiki he could find information on something on. He would watch documentaries to no end and would meticulously write his scripts. He always wanted to make sure he had something for you guys to watch. At one point we asked him if he wanted to try newer things. A newer flight sim, get a better computer, try to do other aviation related content, heck even change his chair. The Allec you guys saw is the same Allec you saw when you first watching his videos. Same chair, same desk, the computer had to switch graphics cards a couple of times due to it failing and having the need to be replaced. However, it's the same computer he's written and edited his contents on. The same computer he's had since 2014. He loved what he did. He poured his soul into what he loved. He never wanted to change anything because he loved what he was doing the way it was.
I love my brother with all my heart and is sad to see him go. The dog is recovering right now. We brought him to the vet, he still can't pee or poo and we have to manually try to compress his abdomen since the vet said the catheter wouldn't stay.
Our family feels lighter now that we're surrounded by friends and families. My brother's classmates from elementary, high school, to college visited, as well as people he's walked with in life. Relatives came from all around the region just to visit my brother. I'm sure you would all want to see him too. You're words written in the comments and to the people who sent help are cherished by the entire family. We will find ways to memorialize all the words you have for my brother. There's still piling bills for my tita who is currently in the hospital right now. I won't be asking for anything.
My brother always had the dream to be a commercial pilot. He made it until he was a private pilot before he died. He was supposed to join the coast guard and say goodbye when he passed so it hurts me to know that he's saying goodbye this early. I'll leave my message here. My heart can't bare to write anymore. I'll leave my wife to write after this line.

Hello everyone. This is Kobe, Allec's sister-in-law.
It is with heavy hearts that I inform you that Allec has passed away last Thursday, July 24 around 6AM Philippine Time. He got involved in a vehicular accident. Inside the car was his beloved dog, Cherry, that survived the accident. As of the moment, Cherry is with us safe and sound but we are worried that his hind legs were fractured because of the accident. In the same morning, their aunt Aileen went to hospital as she could not stand up and has been in pain for several weeks. Currently, she is in ICU getting tests after tests for a diagnosis.
If you would like to know what exactly happened, here is a news about the accident. TW: www.dzrh.com.ph/post/man-dies-as-car-slams-into-lr…
Allec's wake started yesterday and will be until Sunday, 27th of July. He will be cremated at around 4PM Philippine Time.
The whole family is distraught. My husband (Allec's brother), my father-in-law (Allec's father), and our grandma are not in a good mental space to write a post about this but in behalf of our family, thank you for supporting Allec all these years. You all deserved to know what happened to him. We would like to thank you all for supporting Allec by viewing his videos and/or supporting his Patreon. Through your support, Allec was able to support my husband, his brother Albert, throughout college. He was also able to support the rest of the family in various ways. As his sister in law, I will forever admire his passion towards aviation. Something that he has held onto until the very end.
I wish this could be any easier but currently, our bills have been piling up because of our Aunt's hospitalization and the cost of the funeral. We are reaching out from the goodness of your heart for any donation so we can settle the remainder of the funeral cost before Allec's cremation tomorrow. For international viewers, all we can provide you is my husband's Paypal. For local viewers, I will put my husband's Gcash here. Rest assured that the rest of the donations will go to Allec's dog Cherry's check up with veterinarian and Allec's Aunt Aileen who is currently in the hospital.

Hello guys.
I regret to inform you that I will have to postpone my narration indefinitely. This is due to its low viewership and my need to make time to find extra employment. The extra employment should allow me to continue making content. So basically we'll be returning to our old format of subtitled only videos every Friday 12nn GMT+8.
Thank you for your never ending support guys. I appreciate it very much.

Hello, guys.
I appreciate all of your feedback on whether or not older videos should be fixed and narrated.
I believe many of you were worried that narrating old videos would result in new content being postponed. However, we will always move forward unimpeded. But at the same time, I also believe that we should be able to appreciate where we started.
To prevent new content being hindered, I decided I would only narrate old videos if there is extra time on hand. These would also be uploaded on Tuesdays GMT+8 instead of the typical Fridays GMT+8. This would hopefully prevent conflicts between future content. Think of it as Throwback Tuesdays.

Hello, guys.
Thank you very much for the positive feedback on our first narrated video. Now I want to ask you if you guys would like me to also narrate (and fix) older videos. Look forward to hearing back!

Hello, guys.
Thank you very much for your opinions and suggestions in the previous poll. It appears that more than half of you prefer me to keep things the way they are. However, a large portion of you would like to also see me narrate videos.
Since I want to be able to cater to all of you, and at the same time try something new for the channel here is what I came up with:
I have decided that videos will be uploaded in two formats. One will be uploaded in classic subtitles but at the same time another will be uploaded narrated.
This also factors in that plenty of those who prefer subtitles only enjoy the atmosphere of the aircraft sounds while reading, so muting the videos to become subtitles only if narration simply was added over them is not possible.
To avoid confusion between the two videos, disclaimers will be present.
1. Thumbnails will include a text informing you whether a video is narrated or subtitled.
2. At the end of the title, the text (Narrated) or (With subtitles) will be present.
3. After the intro, a message will inform you which video (narrated or subtitled) you are currently playing and, for example, you are playing the narrated video but prefer subtitles only, the message will also inform you that the counterpart video is available in the description box.
Because the videos for the next four months have already been made, and since their raw files are no longer available, the narrated videos for the next four months will have accompanying subtitles. Videos after that will no longer have subtitles present.
I hope you guys will like this new addition. And I hope that the channel can further grow because of this.
Thank you for all your support.

Hello guys. I'm considering switching over to narration. Considering backlogged videos that could take some months. Would it be something you prefer over captions? Mind you my accent may get in the way. I look forward to hearing back.
