Help me out guys, I can't decide whether I should film the Q&A like a regular vid OR if I should do a livestream instead 🤔

Video pros: It'll be a lot shorter, more concise, and nicely edited, plus it'll more enjoyable to watch at any given point after it goes live.

Video cons: The questions I'll be answering are like...several months old and you may not be as pertinent as other questions you may have now;;;

Livestream pros: Here's your chance to ask me whatever you want! They're a lot of fun and I can do it as early as tomorrow if I feel like it.

Livestream cons: It's really effing difficult to figure out when to go live, plus it'll be longer, more all over the place, and not as enjoyable to watch after it goes live.

So what do you guys think? Video or livestream? I'm very 50-50, but I gotta make a decision ASAP because of some other deadlines 😰

Hey y'all, important video update!

Originally I was gonna do a fun lil Q+A because 1) I hardcore needed a break from making all these long-ass, serious af videos and 2) I needed to address the #1 question of my life which is: what is my ethnicity. That question came up a LOT in the comment section of my last video because I called myself white (spoiler alert: I lied, I'm not 100% white), so I figured in this video I could casually slide in a quick discussion about being mixed and identity crises and labels and all that jazz.

I was a fool.

Basically, I have filmed and edited this video TWICE(!!!) and I'm still choosing to start over /again/ because I keep coming up with more things I want to say. Being mixed is such a complex experience, and I figure if I'm going to talk about all this bullshit, I might as well go hard, say my peace, and move on with my life.

So the Q+A is being put off to the next video. I swear on my LIFE I will actually have a fun, chatty video coming soon, but there was no way I could include it in this video. It needs to be its own thing (watch this be my first over-an-hour-long video smh).

I'm having a difficult time working on it if I'm being perfectly honest. Every time I sit down to write the script, I either have an identity crisis or feel frozen because there's a million ideas in my head and I can only write one word at a time. I'm hoping I can get this done and out in early November but who knows!!! I'm very slow and I don't want to rush a vaguely sensitive topic, y'know?

‼️My question for all my wonderful mixed subscribers‼️ What specific issues do you want to me to address in this video? Be specific. I already have a ton I want to say, but I'm still scouring the internet for different thoughts and opinions to include in my video.

Not sure where to start? Here's a few starter questions: How do you feel when people ask you "what's your ethnicity?" or "where are you really from?" ? What label do you call yourself (bi-racial, mixed, poc, hapa, wasian, etc) and why? Do you feel comfortable with your racial identity? Why or why not?

TL;DR: I'm a big, dirty liar and the next video is gonna be a deep dive into mixed ethnicities/identities instead of the fun Q+A video I promised over a month ago (I can't believe I just typed that, I am so SO sorry for keeping y'all waiting and in the dark this long OTL). If you have mixed heritage or have a complicated racial identity, please let me know what you'd like me to discuss. I can't promise I'll cover everyone's questions/thoughts/comments, but they will help me create an all-inclusive video.
