KEYSKEEPER; BIODATA

Lock is 5’5 "tall. No genders are specified. I originally planned on keeping all of my characters gender-neutral because I genuinely don’t care about labels enough to use them on myself and my work. Regardless, I put he/him because it’s easier for everybody, but I don’t think I’ll even include pronouns in my future works.

His colour palette matches the surrounding hot, tropical climate in the forest. You can see on the lower right, he’s hiding in the soil to capture rodents as a food source. His tail is very strong and works like a tentacle to catch prey when something steps onto him. His legs also assist in his camouflage. They’re very strong, which helps him to dig soil faster and is very efficient when it comes to kicking or jumping. His left ear (from the viewer's perspective) is to imitate a leaf to blend in. His strategy works well if he takes off his accessories

Other than that, he’s a skilled one when it comes to information management. Despite being messy, he’s able to organise all the information in his head or any other spaces that require structure, but his appearance deceives the viewer. Most of the time, he works well as a deputy due to his strategic thinking. Maybe a little bit stern, but he works well to bring people back to reality. Especially in an emergency, he’s the only one who’ll probably try to stay calm out of all.

Regardless, there’s a lot of intentional opposition in his character, especially his name being ‘Lock’ when he’s the bearer of all keys and entrances or— being a very well-organised critter when his appearance says nothing about that aspect of him.

His story doesn't have much to do with Sherry, yet. But he does have something to do with Salem, aka the chocolate moose dog that met Sherry. There will also be another character that will ‘complement’ his character, mainly focusing on his opposition to flesh him out whole.
