Today is a momentous day for the Paleo Analysis YouTube channel! It’s our 6th birthday! 6 years ago today I uploaded the very first video! (it’s easy to remember since it also happens to be my birthday too!)
When I first uploaded that video about Crocodiles that survived the end of the Mesozoic Era, I never imagined I would be doing this full time over half a decade later! Much less with over 228,000 subscribers!
I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to share my passion for natural history with the world! I will never stop saying I DO NOT DESERVE THIS! It’s because of all of you that this has become what it is and I can’t wait to see what other adventures await!
Next up on the agenda is going to be the History of the Earth: the Early Jurassic Period! That video is well under way and should be coming out very soon! So stay tuned!

Guys... I know I'm supposed to be working on the next History of the Earth video... But something just dropped and I think it needs to be talked about.
You all know that I try to avoid controversy, but a paper just dropped that has blown open a debate that I know that most people thought was dead a buried....

I know a lot of my audience doesn’t watch shorts but yesterday I announced that I will be attending Sloth Fest at the Museum of Arts and Sciences! It’s in Daytona Beach Florida this Saturday so if you’re in the local area and want to check it out!
You all know how much I love Xenarthrans! So im super excited to be here to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of a giant Eremotherium in the area! We will be featuring Dr. Rachel Narducci, one of the leading experts on sloths and armadillos who will be presenting her research on CT scanning the skulls of both extinct and living members of this clade. And what she has learned about how they behaved!

Update: Well, I recorded the audio and cut it, and it looks like this video is going to be around an hour and fifteen minutes long...
That's the FULL Triassic History of the Earth. Including both the redone Early Triassic and the Late Triassic.
So to answer your question. It's gonna take as long as it takes...

Just thought I'd give everyone an update. The History of the Earth Triassic video is well underway. But holy crap, this one is a lot...
To give you an idea, so far the script is 23 pages long... And I'm still not done. I'm almost done, but I'm still not done. But usually my scripts finish at about 12~14ish pages long. So that should give you all an idea of what we're looking at.
Also, you may notice that I keep using the term "Triassic" instead of "Late Triassic". That is not a typo. If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do it right. And I was unhappy with my Early Triassic Video and I feel like some fixing is needed.
So stay tuned. It's still on the way. And I think this will be worth the wait.
