Howdy fixers,one regular service that gets over looked the most is the coolant system. Your coolant system should be flushed and add new antifreeze about every 30,000 miles or 3 years. Your coolant over time can break down and become acidic . After the rust modifiers are gone the fliud will work on your block casting,heater core,waterpump,and head gasket. That's why it's always important to change it ,or its possable yout water pump can look like this

A k&n even though it never needs replaced it still needs cleaned. This is one of the most common issues with loss of power or mpg's. You should always check your air filter or clean it every 10,000 miles.
