I interviewed Scott Ritter, retired Marine, international weapons inspector, and of course famed military analyst, to discuss the situation in Ukraine. We were supposed to do a live stream on my YouTube channel, but there were technical difficulties. So rather than postpone the interview, I decided to do it on Twitter Spaces, which was quick and convenient. At the end of the day, what matters is not the image but the words. As some of you may know, war has broken out between Russia and Ukraine.
I am currently in Kiev — I arrived yesterday for a two day visit on some business that I had, only to be woken up this morning by my assistant telling me that the Russians were invading. What can I say — perfect timing!
I of course want to get back to Kharkiv to be with my family, but all flights and trains have been canceled, so all the highways are clogged.
So I don’t know exactly what I will do. But I’ll figure it out.
