Rare Music #2
This channel is my small way of helping people find good music that they may not otherwise be exposed to. Obviously I am not the copyright holder of any of the music I upload, so those who do hold that copyright are free to take my videos down or place ads on them. However I would argue that more people being exposed to your music is never a bad thing for you, even if only a small portion of them will actually end up buying a physical copy and/or coming to your concerts.
It is not my intention to ever make money from this channel (I have monetization disabled of course). I hope you find something you like.

Rare Music #2
So yeah, this channel now has 10,000 subscribers. To be honest it's never been a big part of my life. I don't spend hours and hours scouring the internet for weird underground music to post on here. I do however follow the online discourse on music obsessively (yes I am a Scaruffi disciple, yes I am a melonhead, yes I am a Pitchfork drone, yes I used to post regularly on 4chan's /mu/ board), and so occasionally I come across something really cool and obscure that I think deserves more attention. If you are anything like me, you might feel that it gets lonely sometimes being into all this weird shit. There is a certain wavelength you are on that you don't share with your friends, family or significant other. For me, seeing the appreciative comments you guys write works to alleviate the pain that feeling sometimes causes. I guess my hope is that for you there is a similar effect when you find that there is in fact a community, however small in the grand scheme of things, of people like you out there. (Just a tip: if you ever get a chance to go to a Swans concert, you will find your people there in droves. Swans are like, the ultimate normie repellent.)
On this special occasion, I thought it would be nice to share my last.fm profile with you, if anyone but me is still using that site.
