Celia Garcia-Garcia

Spanish pianist and celestist based in The Netherlands and best known for her versatility.
Celia is an ambassador for the Schiedmayer celesta. In 2022 she released the first ever solo celesta album for celesta.
As a pianist, she is a sought-after chamber musician in the most diverse ad hoc formations (FolKlassica, double bassist Dominic Seldis, tubist David Kutz, thereminist Thorwald Jørgensen, the double bass and percussion sections of the RCO etc)
Celia is a member of close-harmony/instrumental ensemble Frommermann and she forms a duo with the brilliant classical saxophonist Femke IJlstra with whom she released the album Colores del sur.
Celia performs regularly as an orchestral keyboard player (piano, celesta and synthesizer) with orchestras such as Royal Concertgebouw, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Noord Nederlands, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Metropole Orkest...
Celia is artistic programmer of the "Weekend of Romantic Music" and she teaches at Utrecht Conservatory.
