Original songs and covers.
Born in Montreal, third in a family of artists, Josianne Paradis began pursuing musical projects at the age of 18. She won the local final of Cégep en spectacle in 1997 and Petite-Vallée in 2006. She went on stage alone or with others, as much on voice as on drums or keyboard. A first album, Josianne Paradis, was released in 2008, then the EP De Lorimier in 2014 and the diptych Face A, Face B in 2016. Her projects take her on tour in Quebec and Europe. After a maternity break, in 2021 she released Joies franches, launched under her personal label Antilope Musique. Her subscribers are happy to find her touching authenticity, her personal and colorful texts, her soft voice, her elegant charm reminiscent of the great singers Renée Claude and Pauline Julien. Each song is both a balm and an invitation to take a step back, take care of yourself and invest in your own happiness.
