The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre is a public institution of excellence created in 1998 committed to research, diagnosis and treatment for cancer. Our goal is to foster translation of scientific breakthroughs into novel and more affective ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Since 2011, CNIO is recognised a one of the ‘Severo Ochoa’ Centres of Excellence by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
