Abdul Kareem ibn Benjy, (Born July 25th, 1995) known by his stage name, Roachin’ Reem, is an American rapper, record executive and entrepreneur based out of Ocala, Florida. He is the co-founder and public face of Bossd Up Records, which he founded with his close friend, Bossd Up Tay, in 2019.
His interest in music began in 2002, when he was seven years old in his grandparents basement in South Carolina. His influence in music came from his cousin and recording artist, professionally known as NorSo. Since then, he’s diligently worked on his craft as a rapper, and, by the time he reached his 20s, a producer and executive label owner.
He released his first official project, St8 Babiez on October 1st, 2019. The project’s title is a reference to his five year prison sentence that he served from 2013 to 2018 in state prison.
His fourthcoming debut album, Cruel World, (stylized as Crvel World) released independently under his own label, is scheduled to release in 2020.
