I make arrangements of various video game music, mostly from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. You may also know me as Metool or E-Tank. I also, on occasion, make my own original electronic music which you can check out here: soltype.bandcamp.com/releases

FAQ
Q: Can I use your arrangements in my own work?
A: In most cases, yes. Please contact me first so I can give approval and don't forget to credit me.
Q: Can you make an arrangement of (insert song)?
A: I don't normally do requests. But if you suggest something and I happen to like it I might consider it in the future!

The channel recently got 5000+ subscribers! Only took like 14 years, haha! Well, I haven't really been advertising the channel that much. Plus, I guess the algorithm favors frequent uploaders. But I'm still very happy about this milestone. Thank you so much for sticking with me, and a big hello to all you newcomers!

Another old release of mine has been reissued, this time it's "Ambel" from 2005:

The majority of the tracks have received some new layers to add richness and boost the fidelity (I had to work with mp3s since the wav originals were unfortunately lost).

We're now up to 5 covers of Doom/Doom II music and I am happy to announce my plans to continue working on enough covers for a whole tribute album! It will be about 10-12 tracks, still no title yet but I'm aiming for something short and sweet.
And in case this Doom stuff is all news to you, head over to my channel and catch up!

It's been a while since I did any covers, but the wait is over! Check out this brand new one of "Into Sandy's City" from Doom II.

A bit later than promised, but my website www.klustr.net/ has been completely redone! It now feels a lot more modern - and very mobile-friendly as well. I've carefully catalogued all my music from 2002 to 2022, complete with some updated artwork and streaming/purchase links (there's one album and an EP missing but those will be available soon). Please have a look if you'd like!

As part of an ongoing project to reissue all my old music (which has been unavailable for a long time) I have now released a slightly updated version of "Cosmic Arts", an album I made back in 2003. Have a listen at cvel.bandcamp.com/album/cosmic-arts
By the way, I am almost done with an updated website where I showcase all the music I've made. Should be finished sometime in January next year!

Hope everyone is doing ok! Just dropped by to tell you that the new EP "Path Shifter" is now available on Bandcamp: cvel.bandcamp.com/album/path-shifter
As a contrast to my other alias Soltype, Cvel leans more heavily into pure electronic music. Check it out if you like glitchy beats and lush synths :)

Here it is, my latest EP "Mending Days":
soltype.bandcamp.com/album/mending-days-ep
As a departure from the last album, this release puts a greater focus on fusing electronic sounds with guitar, piano and electronic piano. It's a much more organic sound with a bit less programming and more performance. I really hope you like it!

Did you know I've been making music since 1998? I recently reworked and uploaded some of my earliest material from 2002-2003 on Bandcamp! The first one is an ambient album called "Dvala":
cvel.bandcamp.com/album/dvala
The other is a combination of two EPs, called "Fast Collider" which is more beat-oriented but still has some ambient and minimalist tracks as well:

This music hasn't been available online for quite some time but I feel it's long overdue for a second chance. If you like early Aphex Twin and Autechre, Future Sound of London or Biosphere you may find some interesting stuff here!
