𝟏. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Marriage is God’s institution! It was the first institution given to us by God. It’s important to build your family on God’s blueprint, not society’s opinions.

(Genesis 2:24 - “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”)

𝟐. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Happiness is a benefit of family, not its mission. The true purpose of family is to reflect God’s image and exercise His dominion on earth.

𝟑. 𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬…

A man is not defined by biology but by his submission to God. Ladies, if he’s not submitted to God, think twice before submitting to him.

(Ephesians 5:23 - “For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church.”)

𝟒. 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧:

Before God gave Adam a wife, He gave him a place (Eden), a purpose (work), and His presence (relationship with God). If you carry these three things, you are on the right track.

𝟓. 𝐖𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬!

Wives are more than just helpers; they are divine partners in ruling and advancing God’s kingdom. Her counsel is powerful.

𝟔. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬.

The devil attacks families because he fears their dominion. His biggest assignment is to destroy the home because when he breaks the home, he breaks society and the church. Protect your home through prayer, unity, and God’s Word.

𝟕. 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

Husbands: Your wife’s submission mirrors your submission to God. Check your alignment with God before questioning hers.

𝟖. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 “𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢-𝐦𝐞’𝐬.”

Your children are not just lookalikes; they are carriers of God’s image. Raise them to fill the earth with His glory.

𝟗. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲.

The enemy disrupts families by flipping roles. God’s design has order: Christ over man, man over family, and love over all. Unfortunately, it has become common to see women taking the lead while husbands remain passive. This is not acceptable for Kingdom people. Let’s stick to God’s order.

(1 Corinthians 11:3 - “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ…”)

Build your family on the Rock—Jesus Christ. Storms will come, but with Him as your foundation, your house will stand firm.

A year where God is the one who is leading you will always be a successful year because know matter how things make look to you, God is in it. And as long as he is in it, you are being led where you need to go.

As you look to him for divine guidance, he will instruct you, order your steps and teach you the way you should go with his loving eye on you. It’s a blessing that his loving eye is on us!

In this life we live in, there is a time for everything. A time to laugh and a time to cry, a time to reap and a time to sow. So just as there are different seasons of the year such as winter, spring, summer, and fall; there are also seasons of our lives that we must observe. This coming year, we have to have that spiritual sensitivity to understand what season in life we are in so we make the right moves and steps concerning our lives.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

3 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 1:2 - 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅, 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒈𝒐 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍.“

They say health is wealth, as a young man I never really understood that statement until I started growing older and realizing my body didn’t feel the same as it did when I was 22 playing basketball without stretching (lol). In order to really live life to the fullest, you need to be healthy. Your family needs the best version of you, your community needs the best version of you, and you must put in the effort to reach there by making some lifestyle changes. I personally believe it is Gods desire that we all be strong and healthy so that we can fulfill all we need to do to the best of our ability.

𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦

𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 1:5 – “𝑰𝒇 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒂𝒖𝒍𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖.”

Every year comes with new challenges, and some of these challenges will take more than mere intellect to have those problems solved. The Bible talks about two types of wisdom, the wisdom of the world which is foolishness to God, and then godly wisdom which comes from God. The spirit of wisdom is the godly wisdom that comes from his spirit and takes you above the average person. The reason seeking wisdom is the most valuable thing you can do for the new year is because in wisdom, you will receive everything you need and everything you want.

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞

𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒉 29:11 – “𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅, 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆.”

It seems from generation to generation, there are people who are existing and not living. Existing is just going through life with no direction, but living means your are purposeful in all that you are doing, you know where your going and the plans ahead of you.

God made us all with a purpose. No one on this earth right now with breath in their longs can say that they don’t have purpose, but they can say they are unsure. Purpose is something that must be discovered, must be sought out for and must be prayed about to come to light.

This year, make a conscious effort to seek to fulfill your purpose.

𝐁𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝

2 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒚 1:7 – “𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓, 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.“

God did not give you the spirit of fear. Let’s just look at this first. The bible shows us that fear is a spirit, and not just any spirit, but it is a crippling spirit. It cause you to hold back on doing something you know that you can do. It causes you to withhold yourself from growing to the capacity that you can be at.

In 2024, you must overcome the spirit of fear and be bold like a lion. We come from a family of lions and we must possess our territory and possessions, but, aggressively going after it. This year, pursue all that the Lord puts in your heart. Have no fear because God is with you you.

This year, you are not allowed to be stagnant. MOVE FORWARD and conquer because you are MORE than a conqueror.
