Imran Datoo is a servant of the Ahlulbayt. He sings their praises and recites eulogies in their honour. His work includes a variety of manqabat, nasheed and noha. Imran began reciting at age six in local mosques, and his love for Prophet Muhammad and his family inspires him to continue this work today. Whether in respect of Bibi Fatima, Imam Ali or Imam Hussain, Imran’s recitation style is one which combines both tradition and modernity, from capturing classic pieces through his unique lens, to creating compositions from his own poetry.

Imran's work incorporates history and current events, and his lyrics include Urdu, English, Arabic and Farsi content. He has recited during ziyarat and at centers worldwide.
