While details remain scarce on the upcoming Ghostbusters series from Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, Dan Aykroyd has chimed in with his thoughts. In a new interview with @TalkingStrange, Aykroyd called the project “really exciting,” adding that it’ll be “coming out quite soon.”

“I think so. Given the fact that (Steven) Spielberg asked for me and said, ‘Come and do this,’ and that they built me in there. Of course, it’s a beautiful nod to what we were doing with Ivan (Reitman) and everybody. I think you’ve got to include it there in the canon. No doubt.”
